  • Combine cider, cranberry juice, water, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, cardamom pods,& vanilla bean into slow cooker.
  • Cook on low heat for 2-4 hours.
  • Garnish with orange slices, if desired and fresh cranberries for a more colorful celebration.

  1. This was really enjoyable. Could not find cardamom pods in my area, so I added some ground cardamom. This was still really good, but next time I would leave out the vanilla bean. It tasted fine, but probably almost tripled the cost of the cider. I don't think the bean was worth the added cost.

  4. My favorite drink this Thanksgiving! I used lite juices and reduced the amount of water. I also added a few orange slices to it while it was mulling because I really liked the flavor it added. It was great solo and with rum!
