The balsamic vinegar makes this one so distinct from the typical red cabbage side dish. Loved the tangy flavor here. I did use a bit less honey than suggested as I tend more towards savory than sweet.

This is wonderful!! I only cooked it for about 8 minutes, though. Everyone loved it, even THE PICKY ONE. Thanks, Chabear!!

I agree with the previous two reviews. I like this recipe. I cooked this for ZWT II, and just ate it straight. I think the flavors will shine even more if served with ham or pork. Overall a solid side dish recipe with some nice interest to it! Thanks Charbear!

This was pretty good! After letting it simmer for 15 minutes, it was very liuqidly so I drained it just before we ate and it still had lots of flavor to it! I also didn't have an onion so I just left it out.My dad made a great suggestion saying we should add chopped apples to it which I think would add extra flavor to it!
Thanks for the recipe Chabear91!

I made this using half red cabbage and half green. The honey was reduced by half and it was plenty sweet for our taste. I allowed the juice to evaporate from the cabbage during cooking. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
