I had never used a double boiler, so I looked it up. I took a stainless steel bowl and fitted over a bowl of simmering water. I kept a close eye on it so the eggs wouldn't scramble, and stirred until it was the right consistency. Hope that helps any newbies like me! Also, this is the most delicious mustard I have ever tasted! I have only tried this on cheese sandwiches, but it would make a great sauce for chicken nuggets.

I really enjoyed this mustard. It was not what I expected but so much better! My husband loves mustard and this was a nice surprise for him! Thanks for the interesting recipe! We will make this again! MADE FOR ZWT4

This is outstanding! Punchy taste that SO enhances the flavor of the meat (we had ham). So glad I came across this recipe, as I am usually SO disappointed in the way my hams turn out, but this came galloping in and RESCUED me from ham-oblivion! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This mustard is a great mix of flavors. I only made half, to try it out, and it was very picquant. I plan to use this for my holiday gift baskets, and will always have some on hand when serving baked ham. Try this one...

This is absolutely wonderful. It does have a very strong mustard taste, but that's the way we like it. Perfect combination of vinegar and sugar mix. Served this as a dipping sauce for Garlic Pepper Pork Skewers. Can't wait to try this with ham. Thanks Engrossed.

This is very close to my mothers...you can use apple cider vinegar if you don not have malt vinegar. It is easily halved as well. I love this mustard and thanks to tag I was reminded how much! It is perfect with ham, thanks for posting this great recipe!!!
