  1. What a delicious warm comfort drink...sure does taste like Christmas! I cut the recipe in half and hubby, I and a friend enjoyed them...now I know what to do with my peppermint schnapps...the amount was perfect for 3 servings...yum!!! =)

  2. Creamy, thick, rich pepermint patty! I did make just for one. Thanks for the comfort!

  3. This is delicious. I used 2% milk and semisweet chocolate. It melted fine for me. I used half of the peppermint amount and a chocolate-covered peppermint stick candy cane! The peppermint flavor was wonderful; not too much. I made a non-alcohol version for my son and the peppermint stick gave it a wonderful mint flavor as well! Thanks for sharing.

  4. I think this recipe has potential. The cocoa is deliciously rich even though I couldn't quite get the chocolate melted smoothly before the milk started to boil. Unfortunately, after adding the schapps, I wasn't able to drink this - it was WAY too strong - couldn't taste the peppermint just the alcohol.

  5. Wow! Who knew that you could get a rich cup of cocoa from skim milk and chocolate chips! The schnapps just had an extra zip to this delicious drink. Use raspberry or mint chips to add flavor without the alcohol!
